An all-around expert, Clark is a hunter, shooter and outdoor writer. For the last 15 years or so, he has devoted much of his time to the study of shotguns, shotshells and choke tubes. So he knows what he is talking about.

We mention this article because in it, Clark does an excellent job of describing the practical application of the StraightJacket Shooting System for a very specific audience: turkey hunters looking for a way to better the performance of their guns.

In his article, Clark wonders whether the StraightJacket is applicable to the guns that most hunters take with them into the turkey woods. To answer that question, he had us put a StraightJacket on his wife’s Remington 870 Express, the gun that she uses for hunting and one of the most used shotguns in the turkey woods today.

Did it work?
